Had an epiphany. Goes like this.

I had a previous career: I was a teacher. I used to think it wasn’t a totally different domain from marketing. But it’s not. It’s definitely not. Here’s why:

1. Empathy
To be a good marketer you really have to care about your audience. It’s gotta go deep. you’ve got to be empathetic. same goes for teachers.

2. The Original Analytics
For years teachers have been delivering content and then testing to see if their audiences have received it correctly. They’ve been modifying their curricula between different sessions for years to see what works best. that’s kinda like multivariate testing, no?
